Different Locations
It all starts with location scouting, and Gary Hubbell is known for providing exciting visuals with solid logistical support. A former wilderness outfitter and hunting guide, Gary Hubbell is a Colorado native with intimate knowledge of the backroads and byways of Colorado. Do you want to shoot your production with the same old views that everyone else has used for their locations? How about something fresh and different! How about big mountain backdrops with ponds full of monster trout in the foreground? What about desert cliffs with stunning mountains behind them? How about old-time ranches with historical buildings and wide-open spaces? Gary Hubbell knows where to find locations that will provide just exactly the look your director or production manager is seeking. A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER
As your location scout
Gary Hubbell is a widely published professional writer and photographer. When Gary scouts a location, he’ll provide sharp, crisp, well-lit photographs that any art director or production manager will appreciate. In many cases, Gary already has photos in his files showing the location in the desired season–winter, summer, spring, or fall. His photographer’s eye will show you the location as you would like to shoot it.
Great relationships with landowners and government agencies
You can drive down a country road and wonder if you can get permission to shoot at that lovely Colorado ranch or farm. Chances are, Gary Hubbell might already know the landowner and have a warm relationship. Permission is no problem, even if the landowner is out of town. Gary Hubbell has a wealth of contacts with Colorado landowners, ranging from mountain airstrips to horse ranches, cabins, rivers, aspen groves, forests, and canyons. His contacts with government agencies are solid, and Gary has a reputation for dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s when filling out government permit applications, and leaving the location as he found it–clean and pristine.
HORSE AND ANIMAL WRANGLER
Gary Hubbell and his wife, Doris, own over 20 head of gorgeous, well-trained, dependable horses. As former wilderness outfitters, Gary and Doris guided over 10,000 people on wilderness horseback rides. They’ve provided horses for Victoria’s Secret, the Colorado Tourism Board, and for over 300 guests at Kevin Costner’s wedding. In addition, Gary has gained a reputation for finding unusual and exotic animals for photo and film productions, such as grizzly bears, reindeer, goats, rabbits, chickens, and many more unusual requests. Gary is a dog trainer and can provide many breeds of well-trained dogs.
Outstanding talent–We can provide models for you
Are you searching for an awesome snowboarder, a top-notch flyfisherman, a lovely lass, a whispering horseman, an incredible cowboy, a beautiful soccer mom who looks great in yoga pants, a Latino construction worker, a baseball coach, or a couple of kids who look like Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn? Call Gary Hubbell. He has hundreds of contacts and has lined up models for all kinds of photo shoots and film productions. These are real people doing the real thing, not some pretty face from an agency who can’t cast a fly rod or buckle their ski boots. If you want authenticity, you’ve got it. Our talent pool can ride, shoot, nock an arrow, bugle a bull elk, cast a fly, net a trout, ride the halfpipe, lead a packstring, climb mountains, rappel a cliff–just let us know, and we’ll find the talent you’re seeking. They’ll be good-looking, knowledgeable, talented, and polite–and your production will look authentic as a result.
